International CIOs from logistics, automotive, airlines, pharmaceuticals, retail, financial services, tourism and engineering will gather in Madrid and Barcelona, Spain this May in a partnership between CIO Move and this title. CIO Move, led by Horst Ellermann, is a unique opportunity to network with CIOs from across Europe.
The three day networking event will see CIOs travel from two of Spain’s greatest cities to hear from and debate with peers. Gathering in the Spanish capital Madrid on May 5th the CIOs will travel by luxury high speed train to Barcelona on May 6. Amongst the topics being debated will be the CIO role in the development of the smart city and connected cars.
The conference includes CIO presentations from international law firm Osborne Clarke, pharmaceuticals firm Almirrall, the Port de Barcelona, space and satellite business Kaskilo and automotive leader SEAT as well as a focus on how the Smart City will influence daily life.
CIOs from some major global organisations are registered to attend including shipping giants Mearsk, breathing equipment maker Drager; logistics firms DHL and FedEx; Ford, energy firm RWE, jet washer maker Karcher; airline Lufthansa, retailer C&A; pharmaceutical firm Novartis, travel firm TUI and lighting firm Osram.
