Former William Hill CIO Itay Fisher has moved to the USA to become the CTO of Sport Information Group, a sports data business.
Fisher was based in Gibraltar during his year as CIO of UK owned William Hill.
Sports Information Group is best known for its Daily Racing Form a data platform that provides data to a multitude of sports organisations.
At William Hill Online Fisher led teams in multiple locations across Europe, focusing on transforming the online IT systems to improve the customer experience, which resulted in increased revenues across the company’s digital betting products and services.
Fisher joined William Hill from rivals Gala Coral Interactive where he was Product and Gaming Development Director and was a member of the management team. Fisher started in the online gaming industry as a Project and Integration Manager at Playtech, a major OEM provider to the gaming sector, where his technical skills allowed him to quickly rise to UK Program Director.
Sports Information Group has transitioned over a long history. It was originall a newspaper business and is now a multi-channel information company that serves the horse racing industry, one of the fastest-growing online wagering sectors.
Sports Information Group was acquired by Z Capital in 2017 and has a strategy of digital transformation and recently helped launch the new DRFBets platform, which provides a front-end player interface, platform and account management systems to create a transformative and more personalised service for customers.
